Sexuality
This one's a little 'heavy' so if you're looking for a light read, I'm afraid you're not going to get it here. youTube is an incredible platform that allows millions of people to share and discuss their opinions on a wide range of subjects. Although we are in an age of growing acceptance, some people still find it difficult to accept certain aspects of society that have recently been changed. There are tonnes of low budget, indie short films on YouTube that face these issues and, a few months ago, I came across one that really stuck out for me.
The title of the video is "Imagine A World Where Being "Gay" The Norm & Being "Straight" Would Be The Minority!". It's a little length, but it's 20 minute of your life that are definitely worth using. There's been a lot of media attention surrounding the LGBTQ+ community recently and, some people, seem to take this opportunity to 'blame the gays'. This video shows what it's like to be in to position of someone who is shamed for their sexuality by a society.
"how do ppl reproduce if it's the norm, this is a stupid concept. not realistic"I'd just like to start of with a serious facepalm. There are thousands of comments like this in the comments section of the video and I seriously worry about humanity's ability to understand basic concepts when people come away with things like this. Sure, if you were taking the concepts used in this video literally, this wouldn't be possible. But I'd hope that people would be able to look beyond the logistics and see the message the creator is trying to share with the audience.
"being gay is horrible for the economy i have 0 promblems with gays but its bad for the economy it really is"Just, what? I don't understand where this person is coming from so the only thing I can say is no... If anything, the "gays" are more beneficial to the economy than the average straight person. On average, they have a higher income and are better educated. Not to mention the fact that gay families often adopt children, removing them from the destructive foster system and giving them a more permanent, stable home.

"This is some bull$#!) promopting gay child porn"
This one is personally my least favourite. However, upon reading the replies, I found one that sums up my feelings the best:
"if your statement is true then surely all 'straight' kids films and stories promote 'straight' child porn."
Praise you child. This person restored my faith in humanity.
I realise that this post is a little different from most of my others but, I really wanted to talk about the subject and I thought this was the best way to do it. I've left the video down below if anyone wants to watch. I would really recommend it.
