So, as you may have noticed, yesterday wasn't a 'Creative Writing' Post. A few weeks ago when I made the schedule, I was a little dubious. I'm not really someone who plans out their days or whatever and I'm not really sure this blog has turned in to what I want it to be.

Originally, it was just another new project for me and I really didn't know where I wanted to go with it. When I got back in to full swing of writing it, I decided I wanted some sort of plan to help me figure out what I was going to write about each day. However, now that I've been writing on here for a good while now, I think I want to make changes.

I'm a big believer in change for the better. Some people hate the thought of change but I love it. For example, for years, I wanted to be an engineer and couldn't imagine myself in any other job. Now that I've been forced to finalise my decision, I decided to change my mind. Sure, I always saw myself as an engineer, but that doesn't mean I would be a good one. Sometimes the things you want aren't always what's best for you. So Accounting and Finance. Yaay!

Back to the point, there are going to be a few changes around here. To the list!

1. No more schedule. So I know it's only been in effect for 2 weeks but I just really don't like it. Something that I thought was going to help me has really just ended up making me feel restricted. Some days, I would just avoid writing until the last minute because I just really didn't feel like writing on the specified topic for that day. So the schedule is getting thrown out the window and I'm going back to writing whatever I want.
2. The frequency I post. I would love this to be a daily thing for me, However, with school starting up soon and various things I need to get done throughout the week, some days will be a lot busier than other. I would like to post at least 3 times a week. (Emphasis on the at least.) Probably Monday, Wednesday and Friday, depending on my timetable and stuff. Before any of you freak out and start thinking this is my way of saying I'm not going to be posting any more, it's really not. This blog is one of the very few creative outlets I have left and, even if I do get two or three opportunities a week to contribute, I will make time. 
3. I need you guys to get more involved. One of the big parts of this blog that no one has really taken advantage of yet is the interactive potential it has. Every post has a comments section and, although some of you tell me personally what you think, I would much prefer you let me know on the blog itself. I don't want this to be a way for me to talk to you. i want this to be a forum for conversation, a little back and forth not only between the two of us, but everyone who reads this. I have friends from all over the world who read this blog and I know that some of you would get on really well with each other. I hope the comments section can be a way for you guys to get to know each other as well as chat to me. On top of that, I'm going to look into getting some sort of system going for any suggested topics you guys have. Ultimately, I'm writing these posts as a way of talking to you guys so I think that if you guys had something you wanted me to talk about, you may enjoy this a lot more. I'll keep you updated on that one.
4. I'm thinking, maybe, if you guys would be interested, featuring a post by one of you every now and again. If anyone wanted to write something for me and see it up here, please do let me know. (In the comments, like we discussed in point 3) This could be anything at all. There's really no limit to whatever you want to talk about. 
5. I want this blog to look nice too. I'm struggling a little with figuring out the best way of formatting this stuff to make it look nice. I'd like to find a way of adding pictures etc to posts and the blog in general to make it look a little more professional. If anyone has any tips or advice, please do let me know.
6. Another important thing for me is to have my ideas shared as widely as possible. I know it's a little difficult trying to convinve someone to sit down and read a blog. Especially if it's written by someone they don't know or particularly care about. I've had some trouble trying to would up people I think would be interested in reading but, I'm hoping, even if you read a post and think someone would relate to it, that you will pass on a like or whatever. I'm not trying to become crazy popular or anything, I just want my thoughts shared out to the world as much as possible.
